The sealing of the sunroom must use neutral silicone weather resistant adhesive, with the core being UV resistance, high elasticity, and non corrosive metal, ensuring no cracking or water leakage for 20 years.
1、 Core characteristics (must meet standards)
Neutral curing: does not corrode aluminum, steel, coated glass; Prohibit acidic adhesives.
Top level weather resistance: stable at -50 ℃~+150 ℃, resistant to UV/ozone, and will not crack for 20 years outdoors.
High elasticity and displacement resistance: displacement capacity ≥ ± 20%, adaptable to thermal expansion and contraction, and does not crack during tensile rebound.
Environmentally friendly without white oil: No white oil/plasticizer, no shrinkage, no brittleness, no blackening.
Broad spectrum adhesion: Glass, aluminum, stainless steel, stone, and concrete do not require primer.
2、 Model differentiation (don’t buy wrong)
Weather resistant adhesive (SR): specifically designed for the joints of sunroof roofs/outer sides (glass aluminum frame, glass glass), waterproof and aging resistant.
Structural adhesive: used for load-bearing bonding (such as glass and frame stress positions), with higher strength and cannot be replaced.
Prohibited: Ordinary glass glue, acidic glue, acrylic glue (poor weather resistance, easy aging).
