Structural silicone sealant

Structural silicone sealant (abbreviated as silicone structural sealant) is a high-strength neutral curing sealant mainly composed of polysiloxane, used in building structures to withstand loads and transmit stresses. It is the core safety material for glass curtain walls, skylights and other projects. Implement the national standard GB 16776-2025.
1、 Core Features
High strength bonding: The tensile bonding strength is ≥ 0.6 MPa (1cm ² can bear about 6kg), permanently fixing glass, stone, and metal plates.
High modulus elasticity: Moderate hardness (Shore A 20~60), strong rigidity, able to withstand ± 25% joint displacement, resistant to wind pressure, earthquake, and temperature deformation.
Weather resistance and aging resistance: resistance to extreme temperature of -50 ℃~150 ℃, resistance to ultraviolet, rain and ozone, outdoor life ≥ 20 years.
Neutral curing: It is non corrosive to glass, coating, metal, and stone, and can be strongly bonded without the need for primer.
2、 Product classification
Single component: paste like, solidifies when exposed to air moisture, easy to apply, suitable for small and medium-sized projects.
Two component: A/B adhesive mixed curing, with higher strength and faster speed, suitable for large curtain walls.
3、 Main purpose (structural load-bearing)
Hidden frame/semi hidden frame glass curtain wall: structural bonding between glass and aluminum frame (replacing metal frame).
Skylight and sunroom: load-bearing fixation of glass and steel structures.
Stone/aluminum curtain wall: structural assembly of panels and keels.
Hollow glass: Structural sealing of inner and outer glass sheets.
