Silicone sealant for doors and windows is a single component, neutral curing, weather resistant and waterproof elastic sealant, specially used for door and window gaps, glass assembly, and frame wall joints. The core is a UV resistant, displacement resistant, and non corrosive substrate.
1、 Core Features (Essential for Doors and Windows)
Type: Single component neutral silicone adhesive (SR, F class, GB/T 14683-2017）， Room temperature moisture absorption curing.
Weather resistance: -50 ℃~150 ℃ Flexible, UV/ozone resistant, suitable for outdoor use for 10 years+without cracking or powdering.
Adhesive: Suitable for aluminum alloy, plastic steel, tempered glass, cement mortar, non corrosive to metal/coating.

4、 Selection points (avoiding pitfalls)
Neutral weather resistant adhesive (Class F) must be selected for outdoor use, and acidic adhesive (corrosive to metals/coatings) is prohibited.
Choose specialized adhesive for insulated glass, and use ordinary door and window adhesive with caution for insulated glass (which is prone to air leakage).
Displacement capability: Ordinary doors and windows should be at least 20 levels, and high-rise/large temperature differences should be at least 35 levels.
Color matching: Same color window frame (white/gray/black), beautiful closure.
5、 Key points of construction
The substrate should be clean and dry, free of oil and dust, and constructed at a temperature of 5-45 ℃.
Apply adhesive directly when the gap width is ≤ 5mm; ＞ 5mm, add foam strip and then apply glue.
Surface drying takes about 30 minutes, initial curing takes 24 hours, and the optimal strength is reached in 7 days.
