4、 Construction key points (determining waterproof and mildew resistant lifespan)
Grassroots treatment: The surface should be clean, dry, oil-free, and dust-free, and old glue should be thoroughly removed.
Glue application: Cut the glue nozzle at a 45 ° angle, evenly apply glue, fill the gaps, slightly above the surface, and eliminate bubbles.
Decoration: Use a scraper/finger (wearing gloves) to level it all at once, dry it for 24 hours, fully cure it in 7 days, and do not touch water before curing.
Maintenance: Avoid soaking in water/direct sunlight for 7 days after curing to ensure stable waterproof and mildew resistance.
5、 Common Misconceptions
❌ Acidic glue is cheap but can corrode stainless steel/metal/marble, and is prohibited in kitchens and bathrooms.
❌ Ordinary glass glue has no mold resistance and will turn black after 1-3 months. It must be selected for mold resistance.
❌ The glue is too thin/has bubbles, which makes it easy to crack and leak water. The thickness should be ≥ 2mm and there should be no discontinuity.
