Aluminum plastic panel neutral silicone sealant is a single component, neutral curing, low modulus specialized weather resistant adhesive. Its core is used for sealing the seams of aluminum-plastic panel curtain walls, does not corrode aluminum plates/fluorocarbon coatings, is weather resistant, waterproof, and has good elasticity. It cannot be used as structural adhesive.
1、 Core features (for aluminum-plastic panels)
Neutral and non corrosive: Ketoxime type curing, non corrosive and non discoloring to aluminum, fluorocarbon coatings, and coated glass.
Weather and temperature resistance: -35 ℃~+100 ℃ stable, resistant to UV rays, ozone, and rainwater, with an outdoor service life of over 10 years.
Elastic adaptation displacement: displacement capacity of ± 20%~± 25%, suitable for thermal expansion and contraction of aluminum-plastic panels, and resistant to cracking.
No primer required: For direct bonding of aluminum-plastic panels, aluminum alloys, glass, stone, etc., no primer is needed.
Environmentally friendly and low VOC: compliant with GB/T 14683-2017, pollution-free and odorless.

4、 Key Construction Points (Key Avoiding Pits)
Grassroots treatment: Clean, dry, oil-free and dust-free inside the joints; Construction is prohibited on damp/frosted surfaces.
Paste decorative paper: Paste low adhesive decorative paper on both sides of the seam to prevent contamination of the board surface and ensure a straight adhesive edge.
Filling foam strips: when the seam width is ≥ 5mm, fill foam strips with a diameter slightly larger than the seam width, save glue and prevent sagging.
Glue application: The glue nozzle is slanted at a 45 ° angle, and the glue gun is pushed at a constant speed. The glue seam is full and continuous, and fully contacts both sides of the seam.
Edge trimming and paper tearing: Immediately scrape flat after gluing, and tear off the textured paper before curing (10-15 minutes).
Construction environment: Temperature range of 4~40 ℃, avoid strong winds, rainy days, and direct sunlight.
5、 Taboos and Misconceptions
❌ It is strictly prohibited to use acidic glass adhesive: it will corrode the aluminum-plastic panel coating, causing blackening and delamination.
❌ Cannot replace structural adhesive: only used for non structural sealing and cannot be used for force bonding.
❌ Prohibited in damp/enclosed environments: Long term immersion and inability to solidify in enclosed spaces.
❌ Non stick copper/copper alloy: can corrode copper materials, leading to discoloration and failure.
