Silicone sealant for aluminum alloy doors and windows (engineering selection+construction+acceptance)
Neutral silicone weather resistant adhesive must be used for sealing aluminum alloy doors and windows, and acidic adhesive (corrosive to aluminum materials) is prohibited; Core requirements: Neutral, single component, ± 25% displacement, weather resistance of 15 years+, low modulus, responsible for water tightness, air tightness, crack resistance, and aging resistance.
1、 Core selection (by scenario)
1) Rubber type classification (strictly prohibited from mixing)
✅ Neutral silicone weather resistant adhesive (mainstream): universal for aluminum alloy/glass/wall, non corrosive to aluminum materials, elastic at -40 ℃~150 ℃, UV resistant for 15 years+; Grade 25LM (± 25% displacement), modulus ≤ 0.4MPa (crack resistance).
✅ Neutral silicone structural adhesive (load-bearing): for concealed/semi concealed frame glass assembly, with a bonding strength of ≥ 0.6MPa, structural calculation and certification are required.
❌ Acidic glass adhesive: corrodes aluminum alloys and coated glass, with a strong odor, absolutely prohibited.
2) Common Engineering Models (GB/T 14683)
Silicon Treasure 558: For doors and windows, 20HM/25LM, black/white/gray, 300ml.
Jitai S971: Neutral curing, ± 20% displacement, door and window joint filling.
Wacker SN910:25LM, weather resistant for 15 years+, low VOC.
Yuhong WS301: weather resistant/structural dual-use, -30 ℃~160 ℃.
